The training is available to anyone who wants to complete it and is a great way for volunteers to start the new term. It is also is for volunteers who need to complete their ongoing mandatory training for review or for new volunteers with less experience in this important area.
Given the nature of safeguarding, best practice is to attend a face to face training course. However it is recognised that there may be circumstances where face to face training is difficult to access, so the online alternative has been provided to ensure flexibility and accessibility for those who need it.
