First Aid - NVQ Accredited

First Aid Training with NVQ certificate. Meets minimum requirements for all appointments in scouting and is led by our first aid trainer, Tom Melia.

Participants should pay for the course at the time of booking using a credit or debit card. The receipt for payment can then be reclaimed from your scout group.

Houghton-le-Spring district offers a reduced price for its own members which is subsidised by the district's trustees.

Parking is available at the HQ.

Please wear casual clothes as some elements of the course are practical; bring a packed lunch, although local shops are a short drive away too. Hot and cold drinks will be provided.

After the training, the record of your learning will be added to your record on Compass, we no longer routinely provide paper certificates.
