Event Details
The BP walk is a short hike from Fourstones to Humshaugh (both near Hexham) tracing the route Baden Powell took on the first ever scout camp. We will reenact this event on Saturday 24th February 2018 - the date close to Baden Powell's birthday on 22nd February.
Meet: 9.00am @ St. Andrews Church
Return: 4.00pm @ St. Andrews Church (Estimate - TBC by text on the day)
This is a popular event, walking though the Northumbrian country side to the cairn in the woods which marks the Look Wide camp site where we stop for a packed lunch. Scouts will renew their promise at the cairn.
Scouts will receive a certificate, special name tape, BP badge Look Wide woggle. Non members will receive a certificate for completing the walk.

Beavers: £10, includes certificate, badge, travel and special woggle
Family members: £8,
includes certificate and travel
Wear: Full uniform, good walking shoes
and a waterproof coat
Bring: Packed lunch and a drink
